| Fish Addict ![]() | Re: opinions on this sump Get a coralife needlwheel 125 or 220, a glass tank (whatever size you want) and go to lowe's and have acrylic baffles cut. It would be cheaper and wouldn't have that really weird baffle design. The skimmer on that auction is a knockoff of the coralife, but from what I can tell it doesn't use a needlewheel pump, which IMO is one of the best types of skimmer pumps. If you want a light for your fuge, you can get a 13w PC light fixture from Lowe's or HD and mount it inside the stand over the fuge section. JMO

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: opinions on this sump I can only say that the company you've linked to, is in the Sacramento area, and has less than a great reputation for quality products. That sump MAY be good, but...based on what little I know of them, (AKA Pet Liquidators) I'd pass, and keep looking. There is a company in Houston, (and I KNOW Texas is a little place...so it CAN'T be far...) called wetdryfilters.com...good people. custom stuff is no problem, and their stock stuff is top notch as well.Christian will take care of ya. AND, shipping should be fairly reasonable too...since they're "so close"...

| Star Polyps | Re: opinions on this sump Thanks for the info. These boards are awesome. Houston isn't too far, 14 hour drive from here. It is insane when I go visit family in Illinois, I spend a day driving through Texas. Then another day going through OK, KA, MO, and most of Illinois. |
