| Fuzzy Sticks ![]() | Researchers: Devastating 'White Syndrome' Coral Disease May Have Bacterial Cause ![]() Queensland, Australia -- Researchers from the Australian Institute of Marine Science and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at James Cook University have identified the possible cause of a virulent coral disease that until now has been mysterious. Coral disease has emerged as a serious threat to coral reefs, including the Great Barrier Reef, and this research is a step towards understanding it and finding ways to deal with it. It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.
