Does this fish have ick?

Kinda hard to tell but I think it looks like injuries, Like from rubbing on rocks ,decorations or what ever is in the tank... Ick Looks like tiny pieces of salt or sand on them..

it look like sugar on its skin but the fish passed away a few min after taking the pic im just hoping the other black fins or fish dont catch it

not ich i can tell you that i have the same fish and it gets them all the time from fighting

how do fish get ich any way. is there a preventative type thing to do.

yah there is but there isnt its caused by stress that builds up in your tank once one fish has it then it passes it on its like a std to a human once one has it they pass it on but ich can be controlled in a fw tank by normal dosages of ich treatment as i do (my buddy says my tank is a liqiud meth lab due to chems.) but i do a every three day dosage works great havnt had ich in like a year since that but just keep feeding reg do not overfeed lights same thing as a sw tank just fw and not as sensitive
