It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!! | Manta Ray | Re: PEMs Freshwater Planted 65G build Thanks for being here, they are all 10,000k. UV lighting company brand, I use them along with actinics over my reef and they made up half the lighting over the old planted. Needless to say I like them.

| Manta Ray | Re: PEMs Freshwater Planted 65G build Its at the top end of the favorable spectrum for planted. 10k is more blue than 5k ( sunlight ) and less blue than 15K. https://www.bltdirect.com/images/colour-temperature.jpg The UV lighting company 10k bulbs have a bit of a pink hue to them too.
