Buying Fish Online

Besides liveaquaria, anyone know a good, reputable site to buy fish online. For my smaller tank Im looking for some fancy guppies...but COLORFUL ones.

Any recommendations would be great.

My experience is LA and Marine Depot Live, can't go wrong with either of them.

Why order Gupppys? I mean, there just guppys. If your going to bother ordering, get something nice. And btw, shipping will be about $35.

Re: Buying Fish Online

PEM,,,fancy guppies are serious business in FW aqariums.

i would seek out private breeders of unique strains.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Hmm, I always just thought of them as a beginner fish.

Re: Buying Fish Online

Thanks Wit.
This is why I posed the question, because fancy guppies ARE serious business from what I read.
But have you seen guppies from any of these private breeders? Im just wondering if they look better and are hardier than the ones you may find in the retail shops.
Thanks!!
