| Golden Moray | Help! What is wrong with my angel? Well Rusty, my angel. I have had her since she was tiny!! Yesterday, I noticed she was getting a little red on her sides of her head near her eyes. And today.... huge bloody bumps, losing her scales. She was FINE the day before last. Honestly there are a few white spots but it does not look like Ich at all. I have had ich in the past and it didn't look/act as quickly as this. I have not added any new fish in MONTHS. Please help her!! She's not doing so well today, swimming with her mouth on the surface. Oh yeah, and she hasn't been rubbing on anything or twitching (signs of ich from what I understand...) ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Excellent Guesser :D | Re: Help! What is wrong with my angel? Doesn't look like freshwater ich to me. I've had ich on my fish before, but I've never had anything like that on my angels before. I wish I could help. Try googling FW angel diseases. I don't know any good sights for that.

| Excellent Guesser :D | Re: Help! What is wrong with my angel? Is it bacterial? Where your angels larger or smaller than Stacey's? I would think a larger angel would be better able to survive the medication.

| Manta Ray | Re: Help! What is wrong with my angel? It could be Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome. EUS is a fungal infection caused by the spices Aphanomyces invadans. The outbreak is triggered by poor or unsuitable water conditions, as are most fish disease. If your specimen has a loss of movement or appetite I would further look into Aeromonas salmonicida witch is caused by Aeromonas salmonicida, a bacterial infection, as the culprit.

| Golden Moray | Re: Help! What is wrong with my angel? Thanks Victor, Paul, and Mario. Unfortunately, she has passed. She was from what I know...over 3 years old. But she was bought at a little bit bigger than baby. I am really bummed about this. She was my favorite!! Even with the name Rusty! It was just so sudden, and random. I do regular water changes. I have Never had a problem with infections in this tank, except one ich breakout..only got one fish though, and it was after a new addition.

| Manta Ray | Re: Help! What is wrong with my angel? With it being more sudden it sounds a little more like EUS to me. Are there any other fish left in that tank? They will probably contract ti if exposed.
