Show me your planted tank!

I'll start. This is my first 55 gallon planted tank I started about 6 months ago. It needs a trim job but I have been focusing on my 34 gallon reef tank lately.
Contains:
2 clown loaches
~30-50 guppies (started with 5, lol)
1 gold nugget pleco
2 gold CAE
20 neon tetras

I am actually thinking about putting in a semi aggressive fish to eat the guppy babies, anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about a leaf fish, but the last one I had ended up picking on the adult fish and stressing them.

Guppies and Neons are a package deal. Think of that.

Beutiful tank!

This is my old 180G Planted tank, it ran for 2 years before I turned the 180 into Reef and downgraded to a 50G for planted.

Here are a couple of cool shots from it

Re: Show me your planted tank!

NICE tank Wav ! Definitely needs some discus in there...lol !

Here's a pic of my 29 community planted. It's a low light planted so no really cool plants or anything....but it is fuss free, which works for me.....the only thing I dose is flourish excel...every now and then when I think of it.....

For stock I have one gold marble angel...a pair of german blue rams.....5 pristella tetra and a khuli loach.

Just another pic of the 29 with the 15 black and white "fake" tank I have underneath it.....

Re: Show me your planted tank!

I gotta admit, I've turned into a SW snob - but those planted tanks you guys have shown are amazing. Whiskey, how could take down such a thing of beauty?? Truly awesome. Nice work all.

Re: Show me your planted tank!

RM IMO the planted guys are the snobs Ive been on a couple of forum that I absolutely refuse to go on again. They are worst than RC! If everything in your system isnt 100% or what they want you to have they will not acknowledge you at all. Not a big fan of the planted community at large. Love my plants just not a lot of the people.

Re: Show me your planted tank!

Lol Ryan...I think I may know one of the forums of which you speak.

I go to a FW forum where the folk are pleasant and helpful. I happen to mod the sw section so I guess I have a bias, but....if they weren't all so nice and easy to get along with....I wouldn't stay there.
