Re: Show me your planted tank!

Update.. took a lot of stuff out. I'm trying to control an outbreak of bba. I heard that you should increase co2 and dose with Flourish. Anyone have any experience with bba/know how to get rid of it?

I'm way late in replying, but yeah, that's how you do it. If you have a controller you can safely run CO2 all the way up to 30PPM,.. Dosing more than reccomeended Flourish Excell acts as an Algaeside, plus getting your ferts in line and getting tons of fast growing stem plants will create alopathiac chemicals that will make it very hard for the algae to hang on.

Thanks I really did love that tank.

It was time for it to go though,.. It was a little silly that my RR tank was setup FW, and my non drilled 125 was my SPS reef,.. Plus both of those in a 700 Sq foot APT is a bit much too.

or I could wait on the discuss. They are too picky with their environment.

Re: Show me your planted tank!

Yes, they are extremely hard to keep happy. I would also recomend a larger tank, at least 50% more volume than your current one.

Thats what I want to do. have it over 100g. then leave this one for sw or upgrade it to a 90g or 75g at least.
