37 gallon problem solved

The 37 gallon in question is going to be a coldwater freshwater set-up. The fish species will be one weather Loach, ten White Cloud Mountain Minnows, one male Betta. The plants will be Ludwigia,Green Cobamba,Hairgrass & strait Vallisneria. Filteration will be my trusty Fluval 404. Lighting will be a dual satelite compact flourescent fixture with lunar lights. This will of course be after I am done with my 3 gallon picto reef with polyps & 2 sexy shrimp with a combo filter\protein skimmer. Then after this and the 37 are done I am going to get started on a six gallon nano with 1 Clown Goby, 1 Peppermint shrimp,Polyps,Mushrooms,1 Hawaiin Feather duster.

The 6g us also a pico. Do at least 10g to be called nano, it will let you keep fish and much more. And easer to get equipment for too.

Re: 37 gallon problem solved

If you're going to keep cold water fish why not look into some of our beautiful natives?50 weeks out of the year I'll put a Rainbow Shiner(Notropis chrosomous)against any Tetra or Rasbora for looks. The other 2 weeks it rivals any SW fish for color. There are lots of other really cool fish that we overlook to keep something exotic. They really are worth looking into!
