Fish Habitrail?

Shale pointed this out to me, and I feel compelled to share. I don't think you could actually have a reef in this thing, but...

Re: Fish Habitrail?

Interresting but the questions are endless. How do they keep them clean? How do you aquascape? How do you even feed the fish?
Still it is pretty cool to look at.

I LOVE that!!! Can't imagine salt water in one though. Fresh would be hard enough to keep clean.

Re: Fish Habitrail?

My first worry was about gas exchange, but I'm guessing the higher spheres are open to the air at least somewhat. And I found on the website that it specifically is designed for Freshwater, looks like I posted in the wrong forum. Oops. I think it looks pretty neat, but I'm afraid of maintenance on something with so much glass...

Re: Fish Habitrail?

I wonder if you could do this in your house...use 4" PVC between multiple tanks to allow your fish to move around the house...

Re: Fish Habitrail?

Wasn't there a thread soemwhere with a guy who had tanks connected that way behind his couch? One or two big acrylic tubes connecting tanks. Was pretty cool.

Re: Fish Habitrail?

That is so cool! Flow would definately be an issue though. Looks like a tank Elroy Jetson would have.

I remember that thread too. He was from Spain or somewhere in Europe. I wonder how that tank is doing? Booze go search for that!
