i love bio-wheels. i have them in my 20g, they dont have to be replaced unless damaged, cant beat that.

Not so sure about that. I have one on my 20g and it does a good job for the mechanical filtration. Of course I also have a good skimmer on it so that helps a lot.

Lynn, you'll have to explain about the skimmer on the FW, i havent heard of this, unless you're referring to a surface skimmer.
