Where to Give away Turtle....

My freshwater water turtle outgrew my tank. Anybody know where i could get rid of him?

You could most likely get a store credit of some sort at your local pet store or just post him on Craig's list as free to a good home if you're looking to just give him away.

I see that you are in Chicago. Surely there is a reptile rescue near by? If not, see if the zoo will take it.

Someone who has a pond may take it. My fiance's father had a turtle in his pond and his name was Mr. Turtle and he made a song up for him and then a racoon got him. He walked all over the backyard but mostly lived in the pond with the koi fish. So you could do a post on craigslist to people with ponds??
