The world's top 27 nature aquariums

I posted this link in another thread, but these tanks are too cool to languish in obscurity. So I will start a thread to get them some attention. These tanks are magnificent!

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Absolutely stunning! They are so serene. I especially like "what the judges said" not only are they judges they are wordsmiths!

Thanks for sharing Reefjitsu!

I still think Steve and Teresa have the worlds best nature aquariums.

Those freshwater guys are always trying to do something to compensate for the lack of "coral beauty."

To me, Reef tanks are all about the vibrant colors. Fresh waters are more subdued but have a more relaxing effect. I Like # 22 the best. Very nice RJ!

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Nice! Wish I had the time and money to do that! Often thought about redoing my 29g but erred on the side of caution.

I still can't decide which I like best. I really like the concept of #10. I would love to see the reef version of that bonzai tree.

My favorites were #3 and #7.
If you didn't know better and there were no fish in them, you would think you were looking into a forrest. Very Cool!
