Re: Pictures of my Cardinal Tetras

Nice thread! ROTFLMAO!

Nice cardinals Teresa!
I only have 2 right now. I guess I need to go shopping?

An African grey would be the parrot I would buy if I was buying a parrot.
I found a blue fronted amazon when I was in highschool and my parents still have it. My dad is ready to kill it! It only loves my mom.
The greys though are very intelligent. What kind of vocabulary does Chico have?

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Hi Victor,
An African Grey is a very intelligent parrot. Chico is the leader of my 3 birds. He mimics a variety of sounds. I have a tv in the bird area so that they can learn from the TV. I had to switch the TV off because Chico learns too much. He mimics the sound of a police siren, phone rings , Gun sounds etc etc.
He knows alot of vocabulary like " good morning" " Goodnight" " How are you doing ?" he asked me that constantly and i have to answer or he screams at me " Mummy what are you doing!!!!" He says ' Goodbye Hon " To steve even though it is the weekend. He hates Steve but loves me to death. Calls all my dogs by their names and he also tells my Electus to " Stop it" if they are too noisy.
He can sing a couple of songs " Old Mc Donald" is his favourite. He whistles ' Bridge on the river Kwai" very well.
I can fill the whole page of what he can do. When he talks, he cannot shut up, it goes on and on and on.
Never go wrong with an African Grey if you love talking or love to listen.

Re: Pictures of my Cardinal Tetras

OH! HE'S A SCOT!
Suddenly it all makes sense! lol

Just kidding. One of my best friends is from Scotland. She's a hoot!
When her and her mom get together I can't understand anything except brolly this and lift that. It's her mom's fault I drink Scotch. They served Oban at her graduation and it was all over. lol

Re: Pictures of my Cardinal Tetras

I do believe that Scotch and Canadian Whiskey are closely related.

What? Not where you were going with that? lol

Re: Pictures of my Cardinal Tetras

Usually most greys can have up to a 1500 word/sound vocab. THE BEST mimicry out of all birds....

Hey, why didn't I think of that. Will start training Chico to say " Get back to work Steve or else"
Yeap, he is definitely " The Enforcer" Words that he loves throwing at Steve are " Go Away", " Pain in the butt", " Nooooooo" and " Whack the Baby"
