| Tunicate | another ich question i have read the newest forum on ich and i have read the 6 articles pertaining to ich but either i missed it or its not there but if in the sick tank i am treating multiple fish how will the parasite ever die off? even if treating the water will is it not possible for some parasites to survive? |

| Re: another ich question If using copper, at one time in the life cycle the ich dies. Same for Hypo. So a long enough time to insure all ich has gone through the full life cycle it is dead. |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: another ich question They key is to keep the reef free of fish for the 6-8 weeks. That will break the cycle in the reef since ich cannot live that long without a fish host. Meanwhile your fish are in QT and are being treated with either hypo or copper. Both take dedicated maintence.
