Just as the title states, I have a RBTA and I was wondering if I can put another Rose in my tank or one of a different color. I guess the real question is, will two of the same kind fight and sting eachother? If they can be in one tank, will two anemones be a problem among my maroon pair ?

Also, I've posted this before but I would like to get more people's opinion.

I have a pair of maroon clowns and one is a all white stripped, the other is white but with a light yellow strip on the head. Is it a gold strip clown or a white? BTW this yellow head clown is the female, and looks very mature so Im sure if the gold color were to come in later, it would have already...shes probably a year old.

I purchased a bright yellow sebae anemone from my LFS last week for my custom 72 watt 14 gallon bio cube. I was a bit dissapointed to find out after the fact that these anemones are dyed and was concerned with it's survival. Well a few days after introducing it to the two black percula in my tank one of them is now hosting it. It has also has eaten the peeled shrimp I have fed it twice. The question I have is will it survive now since the clown has taken to it and it is eating?

Can anyone give me some advice? I was scraping the sides of my tank when a huge flake of salt became dislodged from the back of my light and fell directly on my rose bubble anemone. The salt crystal was flat and about 2x1 inches large. It immediately closed around it before I could try to flush it out. Now it is completely closed up and is partially under a rock and I've noticed small pinkish gooey stringy looking things floating out of it when my clowns have tried to get in it. Is there anything I can do? I really hope this doesn't kill it.

Any Pics of a dying LTA?

I think my LTA is dying. About a month and a half ago I removed my DSB from my tank, waited a week or so until my readings were all good, and returned all my fish to the tank.

My LTA long ago found the perfect spot in my tank and has lived there for about a year, but after I took out all the rocks, his rock was much lower and he didn't like that, and moved off of it. Since then, he has become very small (Was HUGE before!) and his tentacles have shriveled up to looking like limp noodles. He moved underneathe my rocks where I haven't been able to get him, but tonight I decided to go after him.

Poor guy is still has a pink trunk but he's looking really bad. I don't know what guts coming out looks like, so I was wondering if anyone has any pics. It sounds stupid, but I can't tell if they are just tentacles shriveled up or what. Oh, and I smelled him, and no foul stench.

I'll try to get a pic on here if I can. He just seems so listless. Reminds me of those sticky octopuses that you throw against a wall and watch flop down....

I don't want him to die!! I think I'm going to take him to my LFS tomorrow for them to babysit.

half a 'nem

Hey all.
one of my 'nems had a run-in with a power-head yesterday. I pulled him out, and he was in bad shape. I put the two mushed up pieces onto a piece of LR and both gripped on, so I figured I'd leave them to try and recover.
24 hours later, and one half is looking ok, and I think will make it. The other half is in a little puddle in a hard-to-reach back corner of the tank. So my question is... what shall I do about the 'puddle' half? shall I attempt to remove what is left of him, the risk being that he will disintegrate in the net and be blown all over the tank, or... just leave him to decompose, and get cleaned up by the cuc?
I don't want to end up with a tank nuke, so I'm guessing my next move is rather critical.

My tank is 55g + sump, and the disintegrating nem section is about the size of a small oyster.

cheers
