    Coralife Aqualight Pro 48" question

Hello all, does anyone use the Coralife Aqualight Pro light fixture? I'm trying to set it up and use the included mounting legs and they're a pain in the rear!!! Two legs move smoothly but the other two are harder than you know what to move and Im losing my mind trying to get it stable. Anyone have this problem?
My other question is where are you supposed to put the ballasts?? Are you supposed to hang them somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any help and advice!!

Well, after accidently breaking one of the legs because it got stuck and I apparently pushed a little too hard, I was able to super glue it back together (hopefully it sticks). I was able to get it set up but it sure seems a little flimsy. For as much money as I paid for the fixture I thought for sure it would come with a stable set up. Im going to look into the suspension hanging hardware. Hopefully thats more secure.

Good luck. Maybe the "Suspension System" will work better.

I had the exact same problem with the Coralife Lunar Aqualight. On one side the mounting legs fit like a glove on the other side they were so hard to put on. After about 6 months one of the mounting legs snapped. We super glued it but it still came apart. I also don't think mine is bright enough. It is 10,000k, Actinic 03 Blue, and Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED. I'm not satisfied with mine and I'm looking to see what I should be using.

Ballasts can go on the floor of the stand or be hung on the sides of the stand, no special requirements just whatever suits you.

The legs on most light fixtures are not what they should be.

I ordered the hanging suspension kit yesterday so if that works out my life will be much easier. I didnt want to have to hang the lights but I'll get over it. After battling with the legs, I finally got them to work but when I have to move the the lights for water changes and stuff it's a pain! Thanks guys for your input and good luck with your lights deblee44!
