Coralife Pure-Flo II leaks

Does anybody else use one of these RO filters? I received one today and just hooked it up. It spews water like a lawn sprinkler from where the cap screws onto to the membrane canister. The O-ring that is supposed to seal it is in place too. Cant help but wonder if I'm doing something wrong here...

Yep :-) I've got 4 roles wrapped around those threads now. May go buy some more today.

I shouldn't take all of that. Make sure the RO membrane isn't upside down. I made that mistake replacing my filter once and they symptoms were similar.

Wow! I contacted the manufacture of this unit yesterday afternoon and this morning I already had this response in my e-mail:

" It sounds like either an O-ring problem or a cap issue. I will ship you out a new membrane housing assembly. I will enter the order today.

Now that's what I call customer service!!! Oh how I wish more of the warranty issues I've had to deal with in the past with other companies could have gone as easily and and efficiently as this one has. YEEEE HAAAA !!!!
