Coralife super skimmer

This skimmer is at my local pet store and im not sure if it worth buying.

Has anyone used this skimmer and is it worth buying?

I have one on 58gallon tank for 8 months now and is doing a great job was kinda hard adjusting at first but after that its been great.

I have one I found it finicky and overflowed on me alot

I've heard good things about the octopus skimmers though and I believe it's in the same price range

it is worth the $$ ONLY IF YOU BUY USED!!!

We have a Coralife Super Skimmer 125 on our 60 gal tank, it does a great job once adjusted, the adjustment was quirky, a balance between the two adjustments, 1 between the pump and skimmer and also the air venturi adjustment took some playing with.

Now we empty about once a week, heavy dark skim, it is doing its job well.

I have found them to be more cumbersome than anything else

Debby.
