Sump Design

This is just quick design of future sump. Any advice or concern. Don't have any demensions yet considering I don't have a DT yet. Either going to be a 180 or 120 gallon DT.

That looks like it'll work well. No plans for a refugium in there?

I was hoping to add a seperate refugium next to it and have it drain into return area. A split coming from DT drain line into refugium with a overflow box that drains directly into sump. No pumps just manage flow through refugium with maybe a gate valve or something.

the second to the last is the fuge, which sits outside of the stand and drains back into the return section. it is fed from a T fitting off the main drain

Quick Noob Question. Going to add a top off to this. Which compartment does the ato sensor and return go into. Skimmer department or return. Another question On evaporation, where will I notice it the most (compartment).

Looks pretty good to me. I like the space between the drain area and skimmer area. If you have egg crate there it will be a great place to put chemical filtration like socks filled with carbon, etc.. Actually you might want to move that area over to the return side so it doesn't get clogged up by waist and the skimmer can handle the majority of raw overflow. Heaters in drain and return area. ATO in Return. Egg crate and bubble sponge to trap bubbles and chemical filtration.
