| Ricordea | lost actinic So.....heres the deal. I used to run PCs on my tank and am now running MH. I added the coralife Clamp on MH series. I cant seem to get it mounted in a way that the tank receives enough light form the MH to keep the PCs which would be running actinic. Would a basic T5 setup with just actinic bulbs be enough for this application. The unit that i have sitting around is the NO T5 model by coralife as well. Not HO or anything so its only about 32 watts or something. Let me know if you think this will be enough to add actinic back to benefit the corals. |

| Ricordea | Re: lost actinic I got it figured out. I mounted the MH on piece of wood attached to the canopy, which was modified to sit above the tank by an additional foot. The PCs fit great which are running dual actinic. Tank looks awsome so im happy. Coral are almost double the size and have much better color with the new light setup. |
