| Excellent Guesser :D   | Re: what kind of glue should i use for my pvc Jack recommended Red Hot Blue glue to me. Others mention some purple stuff.

For the smaller piping, you really don't need to use primer, as our systems don't develop enough pressure to blow a well-glued fitting apart, but there's nothing wrong with using it if you prefer. (I always do) Be sure to let the glue completely cure (24 hours or more) before hooking the piping up to your system.

| Limpet  | Re: what kind of glue should i use for my pvc Salty, if you are working with dry pvc see if you can't find some weldon 710. It sets up fast and I have never had a leak ever and I have done a lot of plumbing.
