lighting?

which are the actuall lights responsible for coral growth and health the blue or white lights?

White lights. The lower Kelvin Temperature the bulb, the better the growth. The blue lights (Actinic) are for "your eyes", and don't really do anything for the corals. They just make the tank look appealing to the eye.

right now i am running 2 blue actinics and one white and a 75/25 should i drop an actinic for a white?

by the way they are 110 vho on a 55gal

You can try it and see how it looks,.. It would benefit your corals to do so, but the color may not be pleasing to the eye.. VHO's are cheap enough, you can grab a few and just try different combinations till you find what you like, and what will benefit the most..
