| Plate Coral | Sump or no Sump I'm giving in and buying a new tank. The brace broke on our 55gal and we tried to glue it but it didn't hold AT ALL. So we decided to get a new tank. I do not have a sump just a canister filter. I don't know much about sumps but I do know a sump is better than my filter. I want this tank next week but can't afford a sump yet. I do eventually (this summer) want to get a sump. and DIY make me nervous. I'd rather have a profesisonal do it and do it RIGHT. Can I buy a drilled tank now and plug up the holes and be able to get the sump without having to buy another new tank.

| Excellent Guesser :D | Re: Sump or no Sump And yes, you can buy a pre-drilled tank and plug the holes until you get a sump. Just make sure they are plugged using plumbing fixtures and not just a big cork.
