RO/DI problem?

I just bought a Coralife 50gpd RO/DI and hooked it up and water starting coming out the purified side (blue hose) very rapidly where as the drain side (red hose) was just dribbling out. Is this normal or was sent to me plumbed backwards? Anyone have an idea?

Really not sure, you may want to contact the manufacturer.

Re: RO/DI problem?

Sorry everyone false alarm. The unit was sent to me without the membrane. I called Drs. Foster and Smith and they are sending me the membrane. Thanks for your help.

Re: RO/DI problem?

Funny thing, when I got mine from there, a HiS 60 CL, I did not get a membrane too.

Re: RO/DI problem?

Yes - not having a membrane in the system would tend to cause a problem!
