| Watch this Ma! | Re: ph calibration I couldn't find a procedure to make calibration fluid. Without it, it would be impossible to calibrate it. What is it connected to?

| Reef Lobster | Re: ph calibration Not without a calibration solution that has a known pH. You could use white vinegar as a reference to see if you are in the ballpark, but to accurately calibrate the meter your need the solution. The pH of vinegar is typically in the range of 2.5 to 3, depending on the concentration of acetic acid. Commercially available vinegar usually has a pH of about 2.4 |

| Watch this Ma! | Re: ph calibration I recommend ordering some calibration fluid. You should calibrate it every three months. You'll need two PH standards, like a 7 and a 10. Without out the fluid, you just don't know how accurate you are.
