Oceanic Tech 90 Gallon Lighting

Hi all!
New to reef but not to salt water tanks.
I'm looking to buy lighting for my 90 gallon Oceanic Tech Series tank. I would like to have SPS and clams.
What would you recommend?
T5 vs. HQI?
Good quality brand?
Thanks for your input!

Re: Oceanic Tech 90 Gallon Lighting

I personally like the Outer Orbit lights by Current USA. At the depth of the tech tank, you'd probably want the 250W HQI versions. If you have the cash, the Solaris LED systems are supposed to be pretty good.

Re: Oceanic Tech 90 Gallon Lighting

I'm with Jack and Scott on that one. I would put halides next in line after the Solaris. Two 250s would be about right. I have heard good things about the extreme pro but have never seen or used one.
