Wavy Sea??

Does anybody here use the wavy sea circulation pumps? Im looking into modifying my tank flow... The only reason being is my Powerheads are looking old. The have crud all over them and just look nasty. Im gonna keep all old powerheads for back up... I have 1 tunze 6100 ( I think) and 3 other seio PH of different sizes.

If wavy sea isnt a good idea I may just suck it up and Buy all tunze..

PLease post your flow ideas here please... Give me some ideas...

Re: Wavy Sea??

I think Tunze's are a better option for you. I haven't used Wavy Sea, but they seem to be glorified Sea Swirls to me
I've used Sea Swirls and was happy with them, and will continue to use them on my return pump, but, if you are looking to replace your powerheads, get a tunze or two.

Re: Wavy Sea??

I recommend them. Much better quality & you have more control of where the flow goes than with sea swirls. I use 2 & have them hung from my 2 cross braces spinning 360deg. water supplied by 1200gph from my sump. Also have 2 6100 Tunzes. No dead spots at all.

Great combination. You get the semi random flow from the wavy units and the broad current from the tunze's
