Pacific Coast Flow Accelerator FA-400 3 / 4 (Flexible Ball Socket Tubing )

Has anyone used this product or know anything about it. It could really help in all in ones. you could increase flow without adding a heat problem like with bigger pump. It could however add enough resistance to the flow of the stock pumps and wear them quicker or cause heat issues with those...

Any Input?

basically they concentrate water flow into a narrower stream thus creating a stronger more concentrated flow but to achieve this you need a stronger pump as it creates more back pressure

Wont the back pressure damage the pumps or cause extra heat?

not if you use a pressure rated pump

Holy COW! I just spent almost a solid HOUR reading about these and I think I'm brain fried!! I still don't know any more than I did. It's slightly restricting flow but it gets the flow "Boost" from the venturi effect. Unfortunately it takes a lot of pressure to create this. Whew!

yeah i read that too. it seems like a solid product but it defeats the purpose id use it for. now, on a diy skimmer could be useful...
