TLF Phosban Reactor - Page 2

I was wondering if it was rust. it looked like rusty water. Ok so I cooked my baking soda. and then I dissolved it all in the one gallon of water. I dont understand what I do from here. Do I add the entire gallong to my ATO and then it all will be added to the tank in about a weeks time. Do i add a TSP or TBS at a time? im at a lost what to do from here. The document seemed a little confusing for me. im no chemist. LOL

I add the baked baking soda directly to my sump. You have dissolved it in RO/DI. Hmmm...I would check the reef calculator and consider your mix as Randy's recipe 1 and dose accordingly. The key is to add real slow and test. Don't raise it a lot at once.

Oh man.. looks like when i get home i have to play chemist and figure out what porportion if this to add and what porportion of Kalk to add from now on. AHHHHHHH... Reefing just kicked it up a notch and i wasnt ready.

Looks great! I couldn't believe how quickly phosban got rid of my phosphates issue.

yeah i hear ya. since using it when i pluck algae it doesnt grow back. So eventually im thinking its all going to die out or me plucking it here and there will make it all disappear. I cant wait to get my rock nice and purple with no algae.
