| Tuxedo Urchin | Ahhhh My Filter about an hour ago i started to make topoff water with my RO/DI. Went back 5 mins ago to discover that I somehow turned the hot tap on, instead of the cold. So my RO membrane is pretty much gone right? Considering there was more RO water than waste water, it seems the hot water ate right through. So, is there anything else i need to replace? DI cartridge maybe? IDK, help me out here guys. |

| Neon dottyback | Re: Ahhhh My Filter How hot is your water? Before I'd give up on the RO membrane, run some normal temp water through it and see what the output water is like. At something like $80 plus for the RO membrane, you want to be sure it's actually damaged. |
