| Plate Coral | Hello everyone, I plan on ordering a metal halide set-up this evening and I wanted to run it by you all before I do so to make sure I’m buying a quality system that will work well and look good. Oh, at a good price also, so if you know of somewhere I can get these components for less I’d appreciate the info. If I’ve left anything out let me know please, I’ve never had halides before. I considered buying a used set-up but I’m a firm believer in having a warranty on this sort of stuff. Below are the items I’m planning on getting and their prices in case you know of somewhere that offers them for less. 2x IceCap 250 Watt Electronic Metal Halide/ HQI Ballast ($240) 2x MH Parabolic Reflector Set w/ Mogul Base ($60) 2x 250W Reeflux single ended bulb ($110) Total: $410 Thanks in advance guys and gals, Justin

| Plate Coral | Re: Does this halide set-up look ok? Thanks Boozeman. Anyone know if it's worth the extra $18 per reflector for this one Spiderlight Reflector with Mogul Socket and Bracket (Saltwater Aquarium Supplies > Lighting > Accessories > Reflectors > For Metal Halide ) Compared to this reflector/socket combo MH Parabolic Reflector Set w/ Mogul Base - 6161007 If it's worth the extra $36 for the top one I'll get it but if not I'll just put the extra money into some supplemental VHOs in a while. What do you all think? Thank you
