magnifier

What a hoot! I was in line at the checkout counter at the hardware store yesterday and hanging there on the "buy me now" rack was a 3" magnifying glass for $1.29. Even if it didn't work I wouldn't be out much. I got it home and had the BEST TIME looking at everything up close and personal in my tank. It's amazing what is in there that I can't see with just my glasses on. I think this should be a piece of necessary equipment for everyone. It just FUN!!!

PS: I hope everyone is having a blessed holiday season, with joy in your heart and a smile on your face!! I love being alive and happy, and I wish the same for you. Happy Holidays!!!!!

Re: magnifier

funny you mentioned this as I recently ordered something similar OGLES MESOSCOPE. Amazing the things that go on in a reef tank that aren't visible with the naked eye.
I think every aquarist should keep a magnifying glass in thier box of reefing tools
Ps: thanks for the warm wishes.. and Ditto !!

Re: magnifier

I wouldn't think so,, I always sucked up stuff with a turkey baster strained it thru a coffeee filter & laid it flat. The area it zooms in on(if thats the right term) is pretty small. I'll see how it works thru glass in a bit.

Re: magnifier

I keep one in my desk so I can read all that small print! Using it to view the tank is secondary. I would like a stand up microscope. Nothing real fancy.
