| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: MaxiJet Mod information . . . I would imagine they are very similar since their architecture (would that be correct terminology / engineering is the same. I may get a couple of those and try them out. That's a significant improvement in output as well as watt reduction. That's what we call having a Win - Win situation ![]()

| Manta Ray | Re: MaxiJet Mod information . . . i love mine. i also have some koralia #4's and i think the ocean flo mod i have on my MJ 900 is more than the koralia #4. but the flow on the koralia is a little different. the ocean flo mod feel more tunzes flow, have them too the koralia's flow is pretty similar though.

| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: MaxiJet Mod information . . . You know I don't know why I didn't think of this.. I have a pair of MJ900's laying around un-used. I could get the MODKIT for them and run them in my 90 instead of buying the Koralia 4'sright away. That's an idea ![]()

| Manta Ray | Re: MaxiJet Mod information . . . i think so the ocean flo mod doesnt change the the PH. you can take it on and off when ever. so if you need you can use the normal PH or the Mod, switch back and forth. the koralias your stuck with what you get.

| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: MaxiJet Mod information . . . Good idea bro! I like the dual function there. One power head that can do TWO different roles. I need to seriously look into getting some of those kits. ![]()

| Serpent Star | Re: MaxiJet Mod information . . . Thanks for the link to the article. I tried the Sure Flow 1600 upgrade kit and found similar good flow results. This kit comes with a swivel mount so you can point the PH anywhere you like. I have a MJ600 or MJ900 (could not tell the writing is worn off) and I could not get the flow direction adjusted to where my corals liked it. I liked the look of the added flow but my corals all did not and remained partially closed. I have removed it for now but plan to try it again when I get some free time.
