Sump

I am having a very hard time finding a sump to fit under Megan's stand. I need a sump that is anywhere from 6-10 inches wide. No standard sized aquarium will fit. Well, at her LFS they have sumps that are 8 inches wide. They are made by aquatic life support systems. Is this a good manufacturer. I have never heard of them. Does anyone have any info on them. Thanks

The dimensions are about 24X8X15

I'd (and I did) go to a local glass company and have them build one to fit nicely in there.

I have heard some BAD things about ALS but the LFS seems to sell through them like CRAZY! I don't know first hand one way or the other buddy.

Michael, I think this guy custom makes acrylic sumps/tanks inexpensively.

I thought about getting my uncle to build me one, or at least help me buld one. But he is soo busy right now.

To me it would be an HONOR to say, " I've got a Melev sump in here." Heck I might even have to put a special SPOTLIGHT on it to show-case it. Seriously I would go that route in a heart beat.

I would love to use lifereef. BUT, I am on a tighter budget with Megan's Tank. I have put way too much money into my 240

I will be calling around today to get some more info. Booze-I am calling acrylicsumps today to get a quote.

The overflow my LFS sales is made by E-Shopp. I used one of their dual ones for the past 5 months and it never failed. It doesn't have the flow that the LifeReef does but it was also only $100 for the 1200gph model, which was probably only getting around 800 gph.
