Re: 210 Gal setup Good Deal?

does any one else have an oppinion I'm really thinking of snagging this if the deal is a really good one. if not just going to go for a 120 gallon. he says he has spend almost 4k on this setup and the parts that are used are slightly used and were not used for very long. and if you dont think 1500 is a good deal what ammount would be?

Re: 210 Gal setup Good Deal?

When looking at the tank, check for scratches, and blemishes. Obviously anything that could cause major problems, like leaks.

Also, I would reccomend the filter guys for a RO/DI unit.
They have great prices, and very nice equipment.

Re: 210 Gal setup Good Deal?

Inspect for closely for scratches - I got burned a bit with some that showed up much more AFTER adding water (algae likes to grow in them).

I'd also ask if he used copper.

Re: 210 Gal setup Good Deal?

So I have been looking at the filterguys website and im not quite sure whats the differnce amongst the differnt units other than stages and GPD. I really only want to get what I need not looking to do much overkill. Ive allways just bought my RO/DI water at the LFS. Anyone mind making some reccomendations? or maybe a link to a thread where this has allready gone into detail?
