Re: all yall with BakPAk2 got a Question for ya

I have a BAKPAK as well and I do not like it at all but to lower the bubbles there are 2 things you can do. First the elbow on the outlet can be put on so that the water coming from the skimmer breaks the surface of the tank water. Meaning have the elbow some what out of the water. Second close the air venturi vavle and start slowly opening it until you get it to skim where you like.

Re: all yall with BakPAk2 got a Question for ya

I had the dual back pack on my 75 gallon at one time. Here's a link to a bubble trap designed for this skimmer.
Bak-Pak Bubble Trap

I didn't think it was a bad skimmer at all. I used it for probably 6-8 months then I traded for a drilled tank and used an in-sump skimmer.

God bless,
Disciple
