20" Sunpod 150w HQI. Open top will offset the heat increase. I have the 70w for my 12g and love it

Also, check out nanotuners.com for lighting upgrades. They make some really nice kits, although a bit more pricey than the sunpod you'll be able to retain the stock hood.

Re: Anybody know of a biocube lighting mod?

Actually it will be better for water evaporation and oxygen saturation.
I personally think you need to relax and learn how to care for what you have already. Your on fire dude. I see a future burnout with the way your changing everything all the time. Why don't you at least wait until you get to the stage of needing to replace the bulbs on your system? Learn about what you have and what the maintenance is for it? You just got into this hobby. Slow down friend.

Re: Anybody know of a biocube lighting mod?

I see no problem with keeping the top open. It will help with the additional heat of the MH and will increase oxygen saturation which is great.
I ran an aquapod for almost two years with the top raised about 6 inches. Never had a problem.
