i just wanted to get an idea of how much a 125reef will increase your power bill i know that it depends on a lot im just looking for an idea

A lot of things will go into that equation and there is no way to answer it with that little information. What kind of lights, chiller or no chiller, what pumps, sump or refugium or HOB filtration. All these and many more will change the answer.
I believe ours went up about $100 per month maybe more with my 125 with MH, a chiller, sump and fuge.

My electric bill is 50 to 60 in the winter and 125 in the summer (I love my AC). I just added an additional 150 gallons by way of a 60 gallon sump and an 90 gallons in sump. So last months bill was 75 dollars. I don't know if that helps you any but thats my cost in Nebraska.
