skimmer

Yay! i got my 130 but i can't decide on a skimmer i have an ASM on my 50gal and it works great but does any one know of a better skimmer???

Nope! As far as in-sump skimmers go, the ASM is one of the best. I have heard some people bandy about the EuroReef and Octopus though.

i have an ASM G2 with a mesh mod and gatevalve and it seems to be working very well on my 135. it works so much better after the mesh mod.

As much as I love my ASM skimmers I am not sure I would claim they are the BEST.
I do find them to be a great combination of price and quality. There are skimmers out there that are likely better but they cost a lot more.
Meanwhile I have a G1-x on my 90 and a G4+ on my 125 and they both do a great job.

I can only speak for the EuroReef RS 250. It's a fantastic skimmer but it's also on the very expensive side.
