| Smile Maker    | Re: UV Sterilizer - Suggested Flow Rates No, it's not necessary. Running ozonized water over charcoal is to remove any unused free oxygen radicals produced by ozonization. UV sterilizers are generally connected to the return and do not require charcoal as an end filtration.
