| Majano Slayer | Re: Auto top off I'm not sure how certain setups work, however some do not necessarily have redundancy with two sensors. Some setups use two sensors so that when water drops below the lowest sensor, it tops off up to the highest sensor. Personally, I ordered two float switches and wired them up to an Aqualifter pump. I wanted redundancy, so only the lower one turns the pump on and off - on when float is down, off when up. The higher one is the same and wired in series with the first one - on when magnet is down, off when up, so if the first float fails and the water fills to the higher one, it will shut the pump off. I've got an Aquaniveaumat setup at school and it has some priming issues some times (if the reservoir gets empty). Never had a problem with my aqualifter. ![]() ![]()
