Question T5 HO Light

If I have a 36" T5 HO light fixture for my aquarium...what is the highest wattage bulb I can put in the fixture. I have searched and only found 39Watt bulbs...how is that enough? because there are 4 bulbs? I'm so confused...

Re: T5 HO Light

39 watt is the highest I've ever heard of in 36" They are bright. What do you want under them?

Re: T5 HO Light

I have 2 39watt T5s over my 46 gallon right now and it's way brighter than the PCs were with 80 watts. My fixture is a 6 bulb though. Don't want to burn the corals with 6 all at once.
