My New T5 Fixture

Catalina Aquarium

I called them, this morning and was only looking for the unit with 6 bulbs and no fancy moonlights or remote control. The guy ended up selling me this unit for just a little bit more than 50% of that advertised price. It was significantly less than $300 with shipping and everything.

Can't wait to unpack it and plug that sucker in!! My zoas are going to need to be moved down lower in the tank and shaded.

WOOT! WOOT!

I don't know how I got that deal. All I did was call them and I asked the guy if he had a 6 bulb unit with moonlights. He started talking about this unit with the Remote Control. I told him I had a timer for my lights and didn't want to pay the extra $$ for the remote control unit.

So he says, "I can get you this one for $220. (sweet!) Where do you live? (Denver) Denver is $25 shipping. Do you need legs? (yup) Okay $10 for legs."

I got it for $255 shipped.

He said something about putting those prices in a flyer or email special. You should call him.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm a salesman. I didn't do anything special. Just called the guy and told him I wanted T5 @ 144w with moonlights.

When in doubt... wait it out. This means take it slow and let the tank "develop" and don't rush it. Time is your friend
