| Bryozoan  | t5 nova extreme hello folks.need help or idea.which is best on how to set the nova extreme t5 light.do need to set them all at the same time?if not which one do i need to turn on first and for how long?4clown.1 lawnmower blenny,2 peppermint shrimp,1 hermit,3 snail.55gal.thank you folks.  |

Most people seem to have the actinics come on first for about an hour then the daylights then the actinics stay on about an hour after the daylights go out. It kind of gives a slow awakening and darkening effect instead of shocking the inhabitants with lots of light all at once.

| Reef Addict (hopeless)  | Re: t5 nova extreme Exactly how I do mine. This gives a "Sunrise" leading into "FULL-Sun" then at night blends into a "Sun-Set" then into night time (My moonlights fell into the tank and for some reason they did NOT like my water.. must be salty  ).
