| Scopas Tang | Can you use a Phosban reactor inside the sump, the instructions only show hang on variations? I have a euro brace on top of my sump so I cannot hang it on the outside rim. I plan on hanging it on the refugium baffle which leaves about 3" of the reactor out of the water. Does anyone else have it set inside the sump?

| Over Achiever | Re: Phosban Reactor Yes, you can have it in the sump. I have two Phosban reactors daisy-chained together (one w/ Phosban the other w/ carbon), they are both in the sump. The only drawback is when you go to change the Phosban the reactor is all slimy on the outside. For proper function the reactors have to sit flat on their base or be level when hanging. ![]() |
