| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Skimmer for a 20g tank As some of you know I recently converted my 20g qt tank to a real tank with a pair of clowns as permanent residents. Of course now that it is going to be a real tank I need to get some more filtration going. Right now all I have is a small bio-wheel filter and a power head with a bunch of LR taken from my fuge. What would be a good HOB skimmer for this small tank? I have only ever had ASM in sump skimmers on the reef and I love them but it is just not realistic for me to think I am going to put a sump etc on this tank. I want something as simple and easy as possible but still get the benefits of a protein skimmer. I will freely admit I am lost on this one so hopefully you guys and gals have some suggestions for me. Thanks

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Skimmer for a 20g tank Must be a 20l since it is definitely not high. Wouldn't that be overkill on a 20g? Of course I have overkill on the reef so I suppose it is not very different.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Skimmer for a 20g tank The Remora would do a great job on your 20. You COULD go with one of the CPR Bak-Paks, but IMO, they don't compare to the Remora...
