Skimmer for a 20g tank

As some of you know I recently converted my 20g qt tank to a real tank with a pair of clowns as permanent residents. Of course now that it is going to be a real tank I need to get some more filtration going. Right now all I have is a small bio-wheel filter and a power head with a bunch of LR taken from my fuge.
What would be a good HOB skimmer for this small tank? I have only ever had ASM in sump skimmers on the reef and I love them but it is just not realistic for me to think I am going to put a sump etc on this tank. I want something as simple and easy as possible but still get the benefits of a protein skimmer. I will freely admit I am lost on this one so hopefully you guys and gals have some suggestions for me.
Thanks

You can't change the past but you can change how you view it.

A reef tank is like a racecar. The faster you go the harder you crash.

Re: Skimmer for a 20g tank

I like the AquaC remora, though it may be too much for the tank. Is it a 20L or 20H?

Re: Skimmer for a 20g tank

Must be a 20l since it is definitely not high.
Wouldn't that be overkill on a 20g? Of course I have overkill on the reef so I suppose it is not very different.

Re: Skimmer for a 20g tank

AquaC just released a nano version of their skimmers, might be worth looking into.

Re: Skimmer for a 20g tank

The Remora would do a great job on your 20. You COULD go with one of the CPR Bak-Paks, but IMO, they don't compare to the Remora...

Overkill and skimmers just shouldn't be in the same sentence IMO. You can never go wrong with some overskimming, I'd go with the AquaC if I were you.
