| Tubeworm | A couple of days ago I decided to clean my Remora C. Removed the pump, opened it up, cleaned the parts, done! Hmmm that was easy, hey! I bet there's all sorts of junk in the up tube. Look... it has mating line, I bet these pieces just come right apart. SNAP! Oh snap. Broke the up/return right as it enters the skimmer. ![]() The story has a happy ending though. Took the broken pieces to Lowes and found the exact, matching pieces in the plumbing section. $2.00 later and a little bit of PVC adhesive to put the parts together and to calm me down and my skimmer was back in business. So anyone that follows my path of ignorance, be relieved that it can be fixed cheaply, at least this portion of it.
