low sump wter

im having the darnest time keeping the water level inside my wet/dry at a proper level. ive poured directly into the filter to no avail, and have raised the tank water level...nothing...even poured down the intake tube in corner. im afraid that this is the reason to all my airbubbles in tank, pump is sucking a little air. help!!!!!

Can you adjust the return pump? Try slowing it down some if you can.

Re: low sump wter

Without knowing more about your setup all I can suggest is keep adding water. At some point what goes up (to the display) must come down (to the sump) and then you will have reached equalibrium. Once equalibrium has been established you should only have to add fresh water to make up for evaporation.

Re: low sump wter

I'm a bit confused.
Are you saying when you add water to the sump that the water level in the sump is not going up?
When you pour water into the sump, the water level in the sump has to increase because it is the lowest point in the system. If not, then something is setup incorrectly.
Now if you are saying that the water level keeps dropping on a daily basis or every two days or something like that, then that is typical. You will either need a larger sump to give you more time between top offs or get an auto topoff setup like mentioned above.
