| Madame Klanganator | Re: **Neptune AquaController** So, the X10 is a separate interface that goes in-between the ACJR and the tank and computer? I went to the X10 website (which is really cheesy, btw ) and the Neptune site and couldn't find the part numbers that were posted ... IM513 and I can't remember the other one.Wireless sounds really good! Could you guys go into more detail about this way of using the ACJR? Thanks!

I actually already have the ACJR (with serial port, temp & pH probes), so what I have to do now is find out how to go wireless with it. I emailed Neptune and explained how my system will be setup and I'm hoping they can give me some clear answers about how the X10 doohickey can help me. I would be happy to make you a nice dinner at your place! LOL.. you're in Utah, right? I LOCE Utah!

Ive been playing with x10 since the late 70's. Its not really a good technology for this hobby. Its fine for you household lights but thats about it. All the interference from aquarium equipment makes it a real coin toss. The im513 is really just a renamed tw523 which is a renamed cm11a from the late 70's, nothing changed there. The other modules are just appliance standard modules. Personally I'd save the money and avoid the grief. Don | |

My son DOES work in the intelligence community you know <wink, wink> i knew it!!! i knew it!!! he must be using some kind of alien tech. so not fare but you may need a navajo to break the code..... [/quote]He has a Real Cool de-coder watch and a radio in his sunglasses. So you better watch out! As an aside, it's funny that you say that about alien tech. John(dh) is really obsessed/interested in alien/UFO things, and I think has a secret fear that he's been "taken" in the past. He told Bryan at the start of his career if he EVER found out ANYthing to do with aliens (as in Roswell) he had to tell him NO MATTER WHAT. Another funny story; we've always joked around about dh being taken by the Mother Ship, and once in the middle of the night I woke up and there were these CRAZY flashing lights going around the room. The first thing I did was feel the other side of the bed to see if he was still there. I figured this was his time and the MS was floating ouside our bedroom LOL. I thought it was pretty hilarious that I had that reaction even being woken from a dead sleep. Turned out the lights were from an ambulance on the street behind us, but it was really weird the way the light bounced around our room that night.

| Watch this Ma! | Re: **Neptune AquaController** You could use a device such as this to connect the ACJr to a wireless ethernet hub. From there, any of your pc's should be able to connect to the ACJr. I don't know anything about this particular device, which is the reason I said "device such as this". ![]()
